The crochet harlequin stitch is worked by alternating double crochets with double crochet decreases along with long chains to create a pattern that resembles a series of small diamonds. This stitch is a variation of the wheel stitch and starburst stitch.

This stitch is the August 2024 New Year’s Resolution CAL stitch.
