Harmon Halter Top Queen's Gambit
The Harmon Halter was inspired by two things: my love for motorsport and Queen’s gambit! The iconic checkerboard design represents both the chequered flag of a race and a chess board.
The Harmon Halter is quick knit, and I managed to make some of the smaller sizes in a weekend!
The sizes and measurements in the size chart are actual sizes. We recommend picking your size based on your waist measurement. Measure the smallest diameter around your waist. We recommend a size approximately 1-2.5” (negative ease) smaller than your waist measurement to get a snug fit. 0” ease also looks nice as more tank top shape :)
For example, as I am a waist 31”, I would choose size E, which is approx. 1.4” smaller than my waist. The halter is very stretchy and forgiving! I managed to model size B, E and F!!
Pattern includes 11 sizes from (actual) band size 22.6” - 40”, so to fit waist sizes 22.6” - 42.5”
Model photos:
Black & White - Size E modelled on 31” waist, 37” bust
Black & Red - Size F modelled on 31” waist, 37” bust
Blue & Turquoise - Size B modelled on 31” waist, 37” bust
Pink & Grey - Size J modelled on 41” waist, 48” bust
Most sizes can be made using less than 100g of each colour (see chart for approx. values) making it an ideal stashbuster!
