Harmonize is the result of a Greek motif, an Irish green and a German yarn. I think they play well together! So much so that I had to knit another with red and then another with blue. Why not, right?

Of course you can imagine this in any colour combination and any choice of fingering weight yarn. The choices are entirely up to you.

The stitches are simple because they use the mosaic stitch method of colourwork. You will be working with only one colour at a time in each round. Easy peasy even if you are new to this type of knitting.This pattern is written out in full row-by-row and does not use charts.

Measurements: After blocking: approx. 68 cm/27” bottom edge, 56 cm/22” neck opening,
19 cm/7.5” height.
Gauge: Before blocking: 28 stitches x 40 rows = 10 cm/4” square in stocking stitch.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

Yarns Used:
Rohrspatz & Wollmeise Pure 100% Wool, Fingering (14 wpi).
525 meters/574 yards, 150 grams.

Colour (A) Natural Approx. 35 to 40 grams.

Colour (B) Pistazie Approx. 35 to 40 grams.

The other 2 samples also use Natural with My Old Blue Jeans and Ruby Thursday.

Needles and supplies:
3 mm/US 2.5 circular needles 60 cm/24” long. (for the garter borders to help prevent flipping).
3.25 mm/US 3 circular needles 60 cm/24” long. (for the body (stocking stitch sections) of the cowl).
3.5 mm/US 4 circular needles 60 cm/24” long. (for the mosaic stitches to prevent these sections
from knitting too tightly and pulling in).
20 stitch markers, one being a different colour to mark start of rounds.
