This reversible tubular cowl begins with a provisional cast-on and is worked in the round from side to side with a series of rhythmic stripes. After slowly increasing to its central point, the pattern shifts to a gentle series of decreases. Once the knitting is completed a bit of grafting joins the beginning and end of the tube together, creating a seamless, kerchief-style loop.
This project is worked in the round using the following techniques:
• Provisional cast on
• Knit/purl
• Increasing/decreasing
• Kitchener/grafting
