Harmony Hat
This hat is an incredible way to learn a new skill: ladderback jacquard & it’s a great Earth day project to celebrate the amazing act of pollination!
This hat was created to celebrate nature’s partnership between pollinators and flowers. Hats should be fun, and this one is both playful and incredibly soft. Learn a new technique while you are at it, the Ladder-back Jacquard creates an invisible stranding that makes the finished fabric very neat and smooth. Happy Knitting!
Pattern has been tested and professionally edited.
Yarn: Fingering weight wool yarn. My samples are shown in Fibre Company Canopy Fingering.
Yarn Requirements:
Main color: approximately 120 yards (110 meters)
Contrast color: approximately 90 yards (83 meters) including pompom.
- This hat is worked in the round from the bottom up (brim to the crown).
- Two charts have been included: the bee or the bird version. Both have the large floral design. Choose one chart per hat.
- Ensure that stranding gauge is the same as Stockinette stitch. A larger needle may be needed for stranded section.
