MATERIALS:
YARN: African Expressions Harmony (50g 87 m ball; contents: 100 % Merino Wool) dark gray (code 2062) 11 (12, 13, 14, 14) balls. (Note: the lighter stripe in FRONT is created by using 1 ball of same color but different lot.)

NEEDLES: A circular needle or a set of two single-pointed 4.5 mm needles for casting on FRONT and BACK; 4.0 mm needles for the rest of the piece.

TENSION: Needle size 4 mm—or size needed to get 17 sts x 27 rows in st st = 10 x 10 cm. WASH YOUR SWATCH BEFORE MEASURING. TAKE TIME TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.
