Harna
The Harna tunic is worked from the bottom up to the armhole in one piece in back- and forth rows. At armhole level, work is divided, and front and back are worked separately, then shoulders are joined using the three-needle bind-off method.
You will need:
– yarn Sparrow by Quince & Co.(50 g - 154m)
– knitting needles 2.75 and 2.5 mm US2 and US1.5
or other size to obtain gauge;
– stitch markers;
– stitch holder or piece of auxiliary yarn, tapestry needle;
– auxiliary needle;
– 3 (3; 4; 4) (4; 6; 6) (10; 12) buttons, diameter 7 mm - for kids sizes;
or
– 13 (13, 14, 14) (18, 18, 18) (20, 20, 22) buttons, diameter 7 mm - for adults sizes.
Sizes available:
kids – 12 mos; 18 – 24 mos; 3 yrs (4 yrs; 5 yrs; 6–7 yrs) (8–9 yrs; 10–12 yrs; 12–14 yrs);
adults – 32 (34; 36; 38) (40; 42; 44) (46; 48; 50)
Gauge:
22 sts and 36 rows/rounds = 10x10 cm 4x4 in, in stockinette stitch, using 2.75 mm US2 needles, after blocking and slightly stretched.
Difficulty level:
Medium (co, k, kfb, k2tog, p, ssk, yo, bo, M1R, M1L, RLI, LLI)
