I named this purse after my tester, Julie’s daughter, who was so disappointed when her mom tested my Mad Cat Hat, because she thought it was a purse for her. I cannot stand for a child to be disappointed, so I designed Harper her very own purse. I hope you all enjoy it as much as she is.

The Harper Kitty Purse is a cute, fast project that is perfect for the child in your life. It has endless color combinations, and options of lined, or unlined, fur trimmed or not. You can make the strap longer or shorter based on the size of the child too. You can even make a longer strap for an adult. You know I am all about options in my patterns.

Pattern is written in US Terms

For this pattern you will need:

– Any size 4 cotton yarn will probably work, but for my purse, I used Big Twist Cotton, in Flamingo Splash (96 yards) and Big Twist Cotton in White. (54 yards).
– Size I/9-5.50mm Crochet Hook (I use Boye) I crochet loose, if you do not, you may need to go up a hook size.
– Tapestry Needle
- Optional Go for Faux Fur, if you want a fur trim

If you want to line your bag, you will need: (Optional)

• 1 Fat Quarter
• Thread
• Sewing needle
