Harriet Bonnet
Harriet bonnet is a super cute addition to your autumn/winter wardrobe.
The pattern is beginner friendly. I have added some pictures on the last page for clarification.
Harriet comes in one size, suitable for adults.
To start you will need a 4.5mm and 3.5mm circular knitting needle and of course yarn.
Example yarn suggestions for the pattern:
- Peruvian highland wool, Filcolana
- Tweed Supreme, Majo Garn, held double (50g in is enough)
- Gilliatt, De Rerum Natura
The stripes are called color A and color B in the pattern. Color A is the main color that you will use for the stripes, ribbed edges and straps. Color B is used for stripes only.
You will need approximately 70g of color A and approximately 30g of color B.
The bonnet can also be knitted in just one color. In this case just ignore the instructions for the color changes and keep knitting with one tone.
I can’t wait to see what colors you choose! Happy knitting!
