Generally will want 2 skeins of 300 yards DK weight Pendleton for desired length. 400 yards fingering weight will yield approx 5ft finished scarf depending on gauge.

To add or decrease total stitches add stitches 4 at a time.

Cast on 50 is 12 multiples of 4 (48) plus 2.
Cast on 42 is 10 multiples of 4 (40) plus 2.
Cast on 58 is 14 multiples of 4 (56) plus 2.
