Cable Hat and Mittens set

The Cable Hat has rows of twisting cables and a folded brim. The mittens have a central cable on the back of the hand to match the hat.

Written instructions and illustrated grid instructions are given for the cables with a photo-illustrated guide giving details of how to cast on using a ‘stretchy rib cast on’ method.

You will need:
100g of double-knitting wool for the hat and 100g for the mittens
A pair of 3.75mm and a pair of 4mm knitting needles
A cable needle
A tapestry needle for sewing up
