The Harrow Toque is my latest design inspired by the freshly harrowed farm fields around my home and the many farmers I know. Farmers who settle on a favorite ball cap or toque and then proceed to wear it until it falls apart. When I set out to create this design I wanted something that would be suitable for everyone and all members of the family. I wanted a quick knit with a satisfying texture and the Harrow Toque incorporates all of that and more. With it’s stretchy ribbed design it will stretch to fit almost anyone. Better still, it works up fast with a decreased crown for a nice fitted beanie style toque that stays put.

Note: This design is not a slouch toque but you could make it one by continuing the toque length past the suggestion in the pattern.

You’ll need US 15/10.00mm circulars, a #6 bulky yarn and some beginner knitting skills
