Harry Potter Time-Turner Fingerless Mitts
Promotion: buy 2 of my patterns and get $2 discount. No coupon needed.
Everybody needs a Time-Turner sometimes. We wish to turn back time and do things again. I know the Harry Potter books and movies have been out for some time but me and my daughter started reading the Harry Potter books recently and from there I got my inspiration.
Look out for the whole Time-Turner collection which includes the hat, shawl, fingerless mittens and the bookmark. Patterns for mittens & shawl will be soon released.
Notes:
- The two color mitts are knitted flat and sewn together using mattress stitch. (page 1 - 8)
- The one color mitts are knitted in the round and require no sewing (page 8 - 12)
- The mitts come in 3 different sizes. If you are substituting yarn switch to larger or smaller size
- I highly recommend to use this as a practice to do cable knitting without a cable needle. It is so much easier and faster. Follow this link for video tutorial how to do it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6DB6WhAKvY
- Instructions are provided in written (row by row) and charted pattern
- Read through the whole directions before you get started and decide which method works for you
