The name “harukaze” comes from Japanese, and it means “spring breeze”. The scarf is light and warm, making it perfect to wear in spring when it gets a bit chilly in the morning and evening.

This project is good for using up leftover yarn!

Description:
The Harukaze Scarf 02 has a narrow shape like a tie and features a 2x2 rib stitch pattern worked diagonally using the bias knitting technique. It begins with an i-cord edge and is worked back and forth from one end to the other, with I-cord selvages at both sides worked as you knit the scarf. The width of the scarf is slightly larger at the center.

2x2 rib stitch using 4mm needles
28 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10cm / 4 x 4 inches
