This pattern, and all my patterns, are written in standard Canadian/US terms. This pattern has instructions for teen/adult sizes (but offers an alternate stitch count if you wish to make it one size smaller - perhaps for a youth or teen/adult with a smaller than average head size), and is worked in the round. You can easily convert this into a more Slouchy style hat if you prefer.

BONUS: For those of you who prefer less chunky hats, this pattern has instructions for two different yarn weights… both shown together in the main picture. The cream colored one is the chunky version, and the red one is less chunky.

The name for this one was inspired by the beautifully striking stitch detail, which reminds so many of a gentle breeze blowing across the prairie wheat fields. The Harvest Breeze Beanie is sure to be the perfect accessory for your fall and winter wardrobe, but paired together with the matching Harvest Breeze Cowl (separate listing), it is sure to be the perfect combination. It is both stylish and functional. Don’t let the beautiful stitch detail fool you… this hat works up quickly and would be a great project for Beginners (must have a basic knowledge of knitting hats) and experienced knitters.
