Apart from 100g of mustard dk for the wreath covering and the leaves, everything else is is in small amounts - 25g or less, so, a great stashbuster.DK for everything apart from squeak who is knit in 4 ply
Materials
Polystyrene half round wreath form
100g mustard yarn DK for wreath cover (I used
Hayfield baby )
Bright red for poppies - I used James Brett twinkle
Brown dk for sunflower centres & yellow for petals.
Wheat coloured DK & a similar colour of mohair type yard.
Bottle green for poppy leaves
Black chunky, or, aran for centre of poppies
4 ply yarn – 10g each I used Drops alpaca in
grey & pink
scrap of black 4 ply
3.5mm needles either flat, or circular
3mm dpns
2.25mm dpns
(Everything is knit flat. I use dpns for small
items for ease. I use circular needles for just
about everything else as I find them easier to
hold?
