Harvest Grain Socks
These socks were inspired by my love of lace, but also by my not wanting lace socks that were too open. I took inspiration from various patterns that represent grain and merged them into this.
This pattern uses the Fish Lips Kiss Heel (FLKH) which costs $1US here on Ravelry. If you prefer a different kind of heel, you are welcome to knit a different one. However, please keep in mind that I have not accounted for a gusset in my pattern.
I would suggest not using a highly variegated colorway as you might lose the pattern. A striped colorway with thick stripes would probably be fine, or a long color changing yarn. A tonal or solid would probably work best however.
Both toe up and cuff down versions are included in this pattern. The pattern is both written and charted for both sizes.
I used about 325 yards for my pair. Your yardage may vary though!
