Harvest Hat
The hat is worked from the bottom up in the round. For sizes 0-6 (6-12) and 1-2 the ears flaps and straps are added at the end.
Sizes:
0-6 months, (6-12 months), 1-2 years, (2-3 years), XS, (S), M, (L)
Head circumference: 39-41cm/15.5 - 16.5” (42-44 cm/16.5 - 17.5”) 45-47 cm/17.5 - 18.5” (48-50 cm/18.5 - 19.5”) 51-53 cm/19.5 - 21” (54-56 cm/21 - 22”) 57-59 cm/22.5 - 23.5” (60-63 cm/23.5 - 25”)
Yarn: Any DK yarn that has a tension of 22x30 for 10cm will do. I used Sublime Extra Fine Merino Wool DK and Sublime Baby Cashmere Merino Silk
Yarn amount 100g (100g) 150g (150g) 150g (150g) 150g (150g)
Needed:
3.5mm (US4) circular needles 40cm (15”) or longer for magic loop for smaller sizes 0-6 (6-12)
4 mm (US 6) circular needles 40cm (15”) or longer for magic loop for smaller sizes 0-6 (6-12)
3.5 mm (US 5) double pointed needles (or I use my interchangeable knitting needle tips) for i-cord strings
Stitch markers 1 or 3 if you will be doing the ear flaps
