Harvest Sweater
There is just something to be said for your favorite sweater- it’s cozy, comfortable and is always there for you like the best friend that you don’t know you need until you do. In the quest for the perfect sweater, I ended up putting together the Harvest Sweater- with subtle texture , an easy , perfect fit, and worked in a color that just reminded me of fall, this is one of my wardrobe staples. Hopefully you will enjoy wearing this sweater all season long as well. It pairs nicely with your annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch!
Note: Sweater is knit from the top- down following a Provisional CO and is worked flat until the yoke is completed, when it is then knit in the round. Sleeves are knit in a rib pattern. Hood is worked from the provisionally cast on sts. Pocket is worked from yarn over sts that are worked into the body and knit together with the body sts. Edges of pockets are left to roll, adding to the rustic and harvest feel of the sweater.
