Harvest Wishes
Harvest Wishes is an overlay mosaic crochet pattern that uses tapestry techniques to include a third color. Included in the pattern are photo and video tutorials on overlay mosaic crochet and 3-color overlay mosaic crochet as well as yardage and standard sizes for 4-weight and 3-weight yarn. Also included are four suggested color ways for the throw size with specific yarns (either Cascade 220 or Stylecraft DK) and total yardage per color.
You will receive the original pattern PDF and a guide to overlay mosaic crochet.
I used Cascade 220 yarn in Chocolate Heather (2431), Burnt Orange (B 9465), Beige (8021), and Chive (1036).
This is an intermediate level pattern and includes a beginner’s guide on overlay mosaic crochet as well as a video tutorial on both the overlay mosaic crochet technique and the tapestry technique. The PDF does include a photo tutorial on creating a basic envelope border.
The PDF pattern is written in U.S. terminology and includes the full written pattern in a row-by-row format, as well as the ticked graphs. The written format is in a new, easier to read format!
Please note that different yarns, different tensions, and different hook sizes will all utilize a different amount of yarn. All yarn totals are included in the pattern. There are also estimations of yardage needed for varying sizes of blankets.
