A simple lace pattern with garter-stitch accents make this shawl a cinch to knit. I grew up in Illinois, on Harvey, a straight-as-an-arrow neighborhood street, for which this shawl is named. You can look for the straight lines in the lace to guide your way and help you keep track of where you are in the pattern.
