The Hashtag Tension scarf is a fun, fairly easy, scarf pattern that resembles a hashtag # and whose biggest challenge is keeping an even tension. That’s how it earned it’s name!

This pattern was written for my beloved Scheepjes whirls!

All you need is one Whirl, or similar yarn, and a 3.25 hook.

This pattern is actually two in one. The full length scarf is very long (114”x10”) which gives lots of options in how you can wear it and uses a full whirl. If you prefer a shorter scarf (57”x10”) there is an option to make two scarves out of one whirl.
