The hat is worked flat and double stranded starting in a textured pattern consisting of knit and purl stitches and is started with the ribbing. The pattern is described in a chart. Decreases at the top of the hat are explained row by row in the text of the instruction.

Die Mütze wird im Strukturmuster aus re und li Maschen zweifädig in Hin- und Rückreihen gearbeitet und beginnt unten mit einem Bündchenmuster. Für das Muster gibt es eine Strickschrift. Die Abnahmen im oberen Mützenteil werden Reihe für Reihe im Anleitungstext beschrieben.
