Hat #4
Hat #4 is designed in a quite simple two-color brioche stitch pattern, worked on the dark side and turned inside out.
The stitch pattern comes with written instruction, chart and a very basic introduction to two-color brioche stitch knitting.
The hat is stretchy and fit most adult heads.
For the white/grey hat shown, I used a very delicate yarn - Angora-mix 8/2 (55% merino, 35% angora, 10% mohair) from Uld.dk (farm shop), yardage approx. 218 yds (200 meters)/50 grams.
For the red hat shown, I used Zauberwolle (100% merino) from Schoppelwolle, yardage 136 yds (125 meters)/50 grams, and DROPS Puna (100% alpaca) yardage 120 yds (110 meters)/50 grams
Yarn with yardage of 120-185 yds (125-170 meters)/50 grams can be used, depending of volume and content of the yarn.
Yarn required: Dark color: approx. 71-77 yds (65-70 meters), Light color: approx. 77-93 yds (70-85 meters)
