A Nordic style hat knit using stranded colour work (or Fair Isle) techniques. Based on a traditional Nordic pattern this hat is a good project for the knitter wanting to try stranded colour work knitting in-the-round on a small project.

A single size option is given but the hat is easy to resize by adding or subtracting single pattern repeats (guidance is given in the pattern for this). The size given in the pattern is for a standard adult size head for a fitted fit (the Grey version in the pictures). The slouchy version (pictured in a 4-colour version) has five additional pattern repeats added.

3 different colour way options are included in the pattern. The colour work sections of the pattern are charted, all other instructions are written.

There are options to add plain or corrugated ribbing, with 2 choices of corrugated ribbing also described.

Chop and change the ribbing, the colours and the sizes to get different looks for different heads!
