The body of this beanie is constructed using the Waistcoat Stitch. I love using this technique because its stitches closely mimic knit. You will be working a spiral in continuous rounds; do not chain 1 or slip stitch at the end of each round. Work through the post of each single crochet to build your beanie to the desired height. When changing colors use preferred color change method; either carry or work over non-working color.
