The cute design on this hat is created with slipped stitches.

The pattern is available only in one size fit a lady with head circumference of 21”-­23”. It will also fit a child with the same head circumference.

The hat is made in the round and does not have a seam.

The pattern includes instructions for the crochet flower.

Yarn used: #4 medium worsted (10ply)

Needles used:

• US #6 (4 mm) circular needles (16” long) only for the ribbing
• US #8 (5 mm) circular needles (16” long)
• US #8 double-pointed needles (a set of 4 or 5) to shape the crown
• a tapestry needle
• 4mm crochet hook for the flower

Gauge: ~ 4.25 sts per 1” in stockinette stitch
