Aren’t these the cutest replacements for a pom pom? These can also double as a toy :) The pattern includes 7 different designs, which include a lion, rabbit, teddy bear, flower, puppy, piglet and octopus

The hat toppers are designed with a toddler in mind. The pattern could probably be adjusted to make them a little larger

The pictures shown are of a toddler wearing the hats. My tester said that her son loved it so much he even wore it to bed :)

You will need the following to complete your projects:
4 mm crochet hook
polyester stuffing
stitch markers
tapestry needle
small amounts assorted worsted weight yarn in various colours (great stash buster)
8 mm safety eyes (5 pairs) - optional
12 mm green safety eyes (1 pair) - optional
12 mm triangular safety nose (4 pairs) - optional

The samples are approximately 2 and 1/2 “ tall (not including the ears) and 3” wide. The size may vary depending on the yarn used and your tension
