I’ve wanted to design a hat with baby owls for a long time, and it’s finally done . :) The cute baby owls on this hat are created with simple cables. The pattern includes both written instructions and charts for the stitches used.

The pattern is available in two sizes:

2 years +: to fit a child with head circumference of
19”-20.5”/ 48-52 cm
Child-Adult: to fit a child or an average adult with head
circumference of 21”-23”/ 53-58 cm

The hat is made in the round and does not have a seam.
The “eyes” are sewn to the owls’ faces by hand.

Yarn used: #4 medium worsted (10 ply)
Gauge: 4 -4.25 sts per 1” in stockinette stitch

Difficulty: intermediate
