The Hatching Day Socks are the perfect socks for the turtle lover in your life (including yourself!) I have loved sea turtles for as long as I can remember, and this pattern is a little nod to their treacherous first journey on the day they hatch. The adorable duplicate stitch turtle makes its way from the stockinette beach to the safety of the dropped stitch cable waves, all in the space of a shortie sock! They are an extremely quick knit, perfect for vacations and lazy days at the pool or beach. Even beginners with no experience with cables will be able to knit up these socks, no problem!

Purchase of this pattern includes a PDF with all the instructions you need to create these cuff-down socks, including directions for a slipped stitch heel, rounded toe, and links to video stitch tutorials for visual learners.
