Hate Small Talk (Scorpio)
Hate Small Talk (Scorpio) is available individually and as part of the Zodiac Collection. 12 patterns inspired by each Zodiac sign.
Scorpios are attracted to what’s under the surface. They like intensity and complexity in their relationships. They are extremely loyal and deeply compassionate. Scorpios tend to be very direct because they don’t have time for fake emotions. They have an amazing ability to understand other people’s essential nature and needs. This allows them to sense and respond to the shifts in your feelings, and come to your help before you even know you need it.
I wanted to capture a look that was both dynamic and mysterious. Scorpios aren’t afraid to show a little skin, and that’s exactly what this dark blue silky shawl does, while still maintaining a classic shape.
Are you a Scorpio? I would love to hear from you. Let me know in the comments if the pattern fits your personality.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES
This reversible shawl combines a deep garter stitch section with a lovely lace edging; it has a classic triangular shape with a central spine. The shawl is started by casting on 5 stitches (with no need for a garter tab). The increase rate is 6 stitches every right side row: two stitches at each side and two in the center. The result is a shallow triangle with long wings, very comfortable to wear and keep on your shoulders.
