Hattu means hat in Finnish, and since the name of our store is Finnish, we went with tradition in naming this one.

It starts with a Latvian Braid. The directions for the braid are given in the pattern.

The decreases create a nice design at the crown.

Sizing
Finished measurement is ~20” around.

Yarn
Cascade 220 or any worsted weight that will get gauge.

Gauge
6 sts. to 1 inch in colorwork

Needles
16” Circular - Size 4 & 5
Double Pointed - Size 5
(or size needed to get gauge)
