Ghost House Sweater and Mittens
Look at that house, it is has pockets! Yes, each side of the house has a pocket opening that those checky ghost mittens can sneak into and hide.
The Ghost House is knitted separately and then sewn to the front of the sweater, leaving the side edge open to form a nice big pocket, big enough for the Ghost Mittens to hide inside. The Pocket has a number of windows and a door which are also knitted separately then sewn on (no intarsia).
The Ghost House sweater is a bottom up, set in sleeve sweater. The ombre effect is achieved by working a series of stripes and the moon is embroidered on using the chart provided.
The Mittens are worked flat, with a ruffles skirt added and some felt piece attached (template included).
The Sweater is available to fit approx ages 1- 9 years and the Mittens are sized to fit ages 1-2 yrs (2-5 yrs: 6-9 yrs). For more information, see table below.
Both the Sweater and the Mittens are knitted in DK weight yarn.
