Hausti
Hausti takes its inspiration from that first icy morning when frost decorates the edges of leaves and autumn berries. The large scale lace pattern features different sizes of leaves combined with lacy edges mimicking the frost (CHART ONLY).
The crescent shawl is worked from the top down in a thick and cozy yarn, and is shaped using a simple set of stockinette short rows. The sample is shown with a few large seed beads knit in along the top and bottom edges of the shawl to create an interesting texture and to add a bit of sparkle. Of course, you may omit the beads if you wish.
