This sweater got its inspiration while I was sitting in a boat fishing with my husband on the lake next to our cabin. Havas means fishnet in Finnish and the beautiful cable pattern reminds me of it.

This sweater is knitted with new wonderful yarn Tukuwool DK. It’s a boxy and classic sweater, definitely your next wardrobe staple!

The sweater is knitted from bottom to top starting from the hem.
The shoulder seams are sewed and the sleeve stitches are picked from the body and knitted in the round from top to bottom.

RECOMMENDED EASE:
9.5-11.75” / (24-30 cm) of positive ease.

Yarn: Tukuwool DK (100% Finnish wool, 250 meters / 273 yards per 100 grams).
You need approx. 5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8) skeins.

Needles: US 6 / 4mm and US 7 / 4.5mm, 24” / 60cm or longer circular needles and dpns. Adjust the needle size to get the correct gauge.

Other notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, scrap yarn and cable needle.

GAUGE:

18 stitches and 32 rows with the larger needles = 4” (10 cm) in garter stitch (after blocking).

Tämä neule sai inspiraationsa istuskellessani veneessä, kun olimme kalastamassa mieheni kanssa. Havas tarkoittaa haaveissa ja verkoissa käytettävää verkkokudosta, jota neuleessa oleva kaunis palmikkokuvio muistuttaa.

Neule on neulottu uudesta ihanasta Tukuwool DK:sta. Se on muodoltaan klassinen laatikkomallinen neule, joka on helppo vetäistä päälle tilanteessa kuin tilanteessa.

Neule neulotaan alhaalta ylös. Olkasaumat ommellaan yhteen, jonka jälkeen silmukat poimitaan hihoihin kädentieltä ja neulotaan ylhäältä alas.
