Gauge: 24 sts & 31 rows = 10 cm / 4” over Reverse Stocking Stitch on 3.5mm needles after blocking.

Knitting Needles: 3.5mm / US 4 circular needle, 80 cm / 32” length
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Optional: 3.75mm / US 5 needles for cuff i-cord edgings. Havn is worked flat, however a circular needle is advised to make working the large number of sts easier.

Notions: 6 stitch markers, tapestry needle, cable needle (optional),
row counter (optional), waste yarn or stitch holders

Construction Notes: Havn is worked sideways in one piece, beginning at right cuff. The right cuff is worked with an i-cord cast on, and the sleeve is increased whilst a 4x6 cable is worked up the center of the sleeve to the neck. Sts are cast on to each side of the sleeve for the body, then the body and shoulder rows are worked in one piece, with a cable panel added to both front and back hem. The front and back are divided to work the neck shaping. Once front and back are complete the piece is rejoined to work the left shoulder. The body sts are cast off before the left sleeve is worked, maintaining 4x6 cable to cuff, which is worked with an i-cord cast off. The sweater is seamed along underarms and sides of the body. The hem and neckband are finished as they are worked with i-cord edging.

ERRATA:
