Hawk Creek Hat
The ribbing in this hat is super stretchy and super cozy. This quick knit is suitable for most ages and styles.
A large hat with pompom used 2 skeins of Pennsylvania Ave.
One skein of Mercado was plenty for the largest size hat and a nice chubby pompom!
Sizes: Child, Adult S/M, Adult M/L
17 (19, 20) inches, slightly stretched
This pattern is stretchy and fits a range of head sizes.

Hat shown 2 skeins Plied Yarns Pennsylvania Avenue color Tree Baltimore 100% Wool 108 yds/99 m per 1.75 oz/ 50 g
Pale blue version in Berroco Mercado, 164 yds/150 m per 3.5 oz/100 g, color Cielo.
Needles: US 8/5 mm 16”/40 cm circular needles or size to get gauge. Double pointed needles US 10/6mm for top of hat.
Gauge: 16 sts/20 rows over 4” in stockinette.
21 sts over 4” in ribbing, unstretched.
