Hawkesdene Socks
The design of these socks was inspired by a retreat to the mountains in southwest North Carolina. We stayed at The Hawkesdene House in Andrews, which has to be one of the most wonderful trips I have ever taken.
The diamond motif represent the ruggedness of the mountains, the lace represents the elegance of The Hawkesdene House, and the rows of stockinette represent the long roads we traveled to get to our retreat.
This design is one of a collection of Mountain Retreat inspired patterns.
