August 6, 2013: I just uploaded a new PDF version. Due to feedback, I made it more clear whether a part was made in rows or rounds. I also indicated my finished size (approx. 7 inches), and that gauge is unimportant.
Other notes: Pattern is written in American terms. Basic crochet knowledge is needed (slst, sc, hdc, dc, sc2tog, etc).
November 19, 2011:This is my first attempt at pattern writing for something more complicated than a scarf! I would greatly appreciate any feedback.
One note so far: The instructions call for 5 rounds on the neck before the shaping begins. I had actually done 8, and thought it was too long. So you can make the neck longer if desired.
