Hawkweed Sweater (Adult)
Part of the magic of a truly cold winter is the play of snow and sun. Through the icy months the blindingly bright light is inspiring and rejuvenating. The challenge in winter is dressing warmly enough to be able to get outside and enjoy it! The stranded colourwork, in addition to being lovely, provides further insulation, making it WARM!
Hawkweed Sweater is knit bottom-up and steeked at the underarms and neck. Short rows are added at the back of the neck for additional shaping. Sleeves are then picked up and knit down to the cuffs. Knit with 4” of positive ease, this sweater has a flattering and comfortable fit.
Hawkweed Sweater is knit with beautiful Bare Naked Wool ‘Better Breakfast DK’ (a mix of exquisite merino and soft dehaired alpaca): “It’s a remarkably soft, springy and durable yarn that takes Bare Naked Wools to a new level of luxury. The dehaired alpaca provides for comfort for even the most sensitive of skins. The wool blend gives each skein a truly buttery feeling.”
