Hawthorne Hat and Mitts
Inspired by the beauty of autumn, this set of accessories features motifs with leaves and berries straight out of nature’s own sketchbook. Designed to complement the Hawthorne shawl (link below), both pieces can be easily customized.
The hat can change from a beret to a slouch just by using a different blocking method; it can also be left unblocked to fit as a standard cap. The ribbing of the mitts can be worked longer for extra coverage; the mitts are worked from the fingers down to the wrists allowing for this simple modification.
