A fusion of linen lace and tweed in this loose-fitting dress with a hood reminds me of summer days in the village - a scent of freshly-cut grass, long days, smell like a drop of honey and pine sap melting in the sun. I want to spread my arms and sprawl on fragrant herbs, watching the light clouds slowly float across the sky.

This is an A-shaped knee-length tunic or dress with straight sleeves and a hood. At the beginning, the dress is worked as one piece, in the round from bottom up; at the armhole level, it separates into the back and two front pieces, and all parts are worked separately. The only seams in this dress are those on the shoulders. Sleeves are worked seamlessly by picking up sts along the armhole, shaping the sleeve cap with short rows, and knitting down to the cuff. Edges of the hood and the front slit are finished with an i-cord and adorned with hand-knitted lace trims. Cuffs are decorated with the lace trim as well, and finished with crochet crab stitch.

Difficulty level: moderate.
Difficulties you may encounter: working short rows, picking up sts along the armholes. You have to know how to read knitting charts and work lace patterns on RS and WS.

Gauge: 24 sts х 36 rows = 10 х 10 cm.

Recommended yarn weight: 500 - 550 m/100 g.

Needles and notions: 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm circular knitting needles (or other size to get the gauge); spare needles or cables to hold sts; 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm DPN; 1.75 mm crochet hook; stitch markers; row counter; tapestry needle; buttons.,

Materials: I used Knoll Yarns Galanta, color 1612 Ballure(600m/100 g), together with 1 strand of Yarna Tweed (1500 m/100 g). Total consumption 420 g.
For the lace, I used SIŪLAS Lithuanian Linen 4ply (500 m/100 g) - 75 g.
In my dress, I worked in white Toho beads #Тохо № 6 instead of the popcorns on the cuffs and hem line lace trims. Total consumption - approximately 7 g.
Using beads is optional.

Yardage:
Total amount for size 44-46 - approximately 450 g; for size 48-50 - 550 g; for size 52-54 - 650 g.
For the lace trim - linen yarn (you may substitute it with cotton or silk) - up to 100 g.

Sizes: 44(S)-46 (M), 48-50(L), 52-54 (XL).

Хочется раскинуть руки и упасть в ароматное разнотравье, смотреть, как медленно плывут по небу легкие облака.

Это туника или платье длиной чуть выше колен, с кружевным узором по подолу, на манжетах и вдоль края капюшона. Застежка на груди и край капюшона обвязаны дуршнуром. Силуэт А-образный, свободный, рукав прямой.
Платье связано снизу вверх по кругу до пройм, затем полотно разделяется на перед и спинку и далее вяжется отдельно. Швы - только плечевые. Рукава без швов, вывязаны из пройм.

Уровень сложности: средний.
Сложности, с которыми вы можете столкнуться: вывязывание укороченных рядов, набор петель из пройм. Необходимо умение читать схемы, вязать ажурные узоры в лицевом и изнаночном рядах.

Плотность вязания: 24 петли х 36 рядов = 10 х 10 см.
