The comfort of being wrapped in love……
named for my eldest maternal aunt, this wrap is to remind us that there is nothing like being wrapped in love.

Yarn information
SweetGeorgia Yarns – 3 skeins; Merino Silk Lace; 50% Silk, 50% Merino; 700 m / 795 yds per 115 gm / 3.5 oz.
Sample used approximately 2,050 yards in the colourway, mist
Size: 102 cm / 40” wide; 184 cm / 72” long

Gauge and needle:
24 sts / 32 rows = 10 cm / 4”
2 3.5mm/US 4 circular needles, minimum 60 cm/32 in long, or the size you need to meet gauge. As this project progresses, you can move all the stitches to a single circular needle. Change to a longer circular as needed; sample was completed on a 47” circular, but a 60” is recommended.
Gauge is not imperative for this project, but adjustments will affect the final size and yardage requirement. You want a flexible fabric that drapes well.

Other supplies: 1536 size 6/0 or 8/0 beads, dental floss or crochet hook to place beads, tape measure, stitch markers – 1 for beginning of round, 6 of another colour/type, darning needle.

Techniques used: knit, purl, yo, k2tog, directional double decrease, centred double decrease, Judy Becker’s Magic Cast On, make 1 right, make 1 left, place bead as you knit
The lace is charted only.
