This shawl features owl panels with leaves/feathers on the body and a ruffle leaf border. There are optional beads in the owls’ eyes and on the border.

Pattern was test knitted.

Yarn: about 700 yards of lace weight yarn. Sample was knit with Gloss Lace yarn by Knit Picks.

Needles: US 3. I used a 29” circular. Use whatever size gets the lacy effect that you like.

Notions: stitch markers, darning needle, blocking materials, small crochet hook for placing beads (No. 10 or whatever fits through your beads), about 200 size 6/0 beads
