SKILL LEVEL - Intermediate (Requires knowledge of sl st, hdc and working in the back loop only. Knowledge of working in the 3rd lp is helpful, but not required)

SIZE - Hat brim measures 18.5” around (stretches to over 22”), and hat measures 8.5” tall.

YOU WILL NEED -

150 yards Heavy Worsted (#4) or Light Bulky (#5) weight yarn. You will need about 115 yards of the MC and 35 yards of the CC. I used a color-changing yarn for the CC, but you can also use a single color or many colors of scrap yarn!
I used We Are Knitters Petite Wool in Ivory for the MC and King Cole Riot Chunky in Turkish Delight for the CC.
A 6mm (Size J) crochet hook, or size to obtain correct gauge.
