Hello hello thank you for checking out my Hazy Skies pattern! This pattern is beginner friendly- all of the texture consists of knit and purl stitches and it’s knit bottom to top. Each piece is knit separately and the only portion that is knit in the round is the collar- which makes it more suitable for beginner.
Yarn Weight: Worsted
Yarn Brand Suggestions:
Cascade 128 Superwash Yarn - 100% Merino Wool- 128 yards
Molly Fine by MayFlower - 100g/147 yards
Wool of the Andes by Knit Picks - 100g/125m
Re:Treat by West Yorkshire Spinners - 100% Wool - 3.5oz/153 yards
Amount of yarn needed: (153 yds per skein)
Color A (Sleeves/Body Ribbing) - 3 (3) 3 (4) 4 (4) 5 (5)
Color B (Body/Sleeve Ribbing) - 3 (3) 4 (5) 5 (6) 6 (7)
Needles:
US 8 - 5mm circular needles / Cord length used : 32 inches
US 11 - 8mm circular needles or straight needles (your preference)
US 8 - 5mm needles are specifically circular for the collar which is knit in the round
