Hazy Suede Scarf
In this free pattern, our designers have fused two distinctly disparate fibers in one simple scarf. A smooth, worsted-weight ribbon takes turns striping with a lace-weight mohair strand, giving an enthralling twist to the classic stockinette stitch. The fabric is phenomenal--fuzzy, a little funky, absolutely fascinating. And the fringe is a perfect finish!
Our starring yarns are Lana Grossa Alcanto--a worsted-weight tape that mimics suede in the best possible ways--and Rowan Kidsilk Haze--a lace-weight mohair/silk blend and perennial favorite. Kidsilk Haze lends a soft halo to the crisp, velvety texture of Alcanto. Plus, the parallel colors pair up so well!
