There are many Easter traditions that we look forward to, but the one that stands out to me was going to church
with Grandpa on Easter Sunday and celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. Luke 24:6-7: “He is not here; He has risen! Remember how He told you while He was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and, on the third day, be raised again.” My goal for this baby lovey is to give crochet makers the ability to create a gift for all of the newborn Children of
God in their life- to carry on the traditions that have been passed on for generations.

There are three separate PDF’s included when you purchase this listing.
-A long version of the He Has Risen Easter Baby Lovey an in-depth guide that will provide step-by-step instructions on how to construct the hexagon-shaped blanket with all parts of the tulip stitch included, construction of all parts of the cross and assembly of the cross. This file is 15 pages long.
-A printer friendly version of the He Has Risen Easter Baby Lovey, a less in-depth version of everything described in the long version with less pictures. This file is 10 pages long.
-A He Has Risen Plushie with Flower Garland. In-depth instructions on how to construct the cross, assemble the cross and construct all parts of the flower garland. The flower garland consists of micro tulips and Easter lilies. This document is 14 pages long.

This pattern is written using American terminology.

The stuffie is worked in continuous rounds, but the blanket is not. Please read each section carefully before you begin!

Guage:
Upon using #3 weight yarn and a 3.25(D) hook, your
blanket will be 12” in diameter and your cross will be
the approximate sizes:
Length = 7”
Width = 5.5”
Depth= 1.5”

Skill Level:
I would like to strongly note that this is an intermeidate
level pattern. The construction of the cross is
significantly different from other plushies that I have
desined. The pattern is written with the assumption that
you are already familiar with all of the crochet terms
listed in the ‘abbreviations’ section. It has also been
designed with the assumption that you have prior
experience making amigurumi products. With that being
said, I am more than happy to answer and assist with
any questions!

Tools:
Crochet hook
- I used a 3.25(D) hook for all portions of the baby lovey and cross(cross is double stranded), but a 2.75 (C) hook for the flower garland.
• Darning needle
• Stitch markers (at least 16 markers recommended)
• Poly-fil stuffing
• Any weight yarn will work. I used DK weight 100% acrylic yarn.
• You may use any combination of colors you would like. Keep in
mind that the colors indicated in the pattern are only provided
as reference to the pictures being used. In this pattern, I used
light blue, pink, green, brown, white, yellow, purple and tan.
