Headband
Halfway between earmuffs and a hat this is a very popular way of keeping ears warm in wintry conditions. This can be made to match the gloves or arm warmers. The cashmerino yarn is beautifully soft to touch but any DK will work and the length can be adjusted if necessary.
I have finished off the side edges of the headband with a row of double crochet (US single crochet) in a contrasting colour but this is not essential.
The flower is crocheted in the same yarn using a 4mm crochet hook. Worked in a silky yarn and with a brooch pin added it would make a smart corsage or try a mohair mix for less defined stitches and a more delicate effect.
