This is a headband inspired by the flowery and whimsical
world of the 1970s. It is knitted with double-pointed needles, but can be knitted with circular or straight needles.
The flowers are crocheted and are a complement that you will knit apart from the headband. They are an extra, but without the flowers, the headband also looks very nice. It is beginner friendly.

It is a rectangular design that once knitted you will sew to form the circle. This size is a standard size, but I suggest you to measure the contour of your head to see if the measurements fit you. It is composed of 4 rows that are repeated forming the spikes. The first 2 rows are for preparation; therefore you are only going to knit them at the beginning of the garment.
The first stitch is always a slip stitch, except for the very first row.

With one skein you can knit a headband and have some yarn left over to crochet some flowers. If you want to add flowers of other colours, like in the photos, you have to take as many skeins as different colors you want to use to crochet them. In this pattern 4 different colours have been used, one for the headband and the other 3 to form the flowers.
